Wild weather puts verge collection on hold

The Weather Bureau is forecasting one of the biggest storms in a decade to hit WA on Sunday and Monday, which could impact the City’s Autumn Green Waste Verge Side Collection.

The City will monitor the situation over the weekend and in the interest of public safety, South Perth residents are being advised to please postpone placing their green waste out for collection for the time being and if possible remove anything already placed on the verge. Verge side waste should then be presented on Tuesday morning, subject to the storm abating as forecast.
