- Manning Road and Centenary Avenue intersection, Waterford.
Commencing 4 May 2020, the works will take approximately 3 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
The works are scheduled at night to avoid major disruption to high-volume daytime traffic on Manning Rd. Works are scheduled between 8pm and 5am, Monday to Friday and, if required, between 8pm and 6am, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Work activities and noise management
Activities taking place at night include:
- Milling of the existing road surfacing
- Resurfacing with new asphalt
- Kerbing and median island upgrades
- Traffic Management
Equipment and vehicle movements may create noise for adjacent residents. To minimise disturbance to residents an out-of-hours Noise Management Plan has been prepared by the Head Contractor, Asphaltech, and approved by the City of South Perth.
For the safety of road users and personnel, temporary lane closures and detours will be implemented to facilitate the works. Manning Rd will be closed from Conlon St through to east of Lawson St. The roadworks will also impact the connectivity of Manning Rd and Leech Hwy via Centenary Ave. Please follow all signage and take care when driving in the area.
