Draft Local Planning Strategy to be considered at a future date

The Draft Local Planning Strategy was due to be considered at the March Council meeting, however the item was withdrawn due the number of people indicating their intention to attend the meeting and in the interest of public safety. 

You can still download a copy of the Agenda item (which includes the Draft Local Planning Strategy report) via the website. 

To provide the opportunity for all interested parties to make deputations and listen to debate in relation to this item, Council will consider the Draft Strategy at a future meeting - date to be advised.

The Draft Local Planning Strategy is the first step in a wider review of the City’s planning framework. It considers a range of factors affecting future planning. We hope over the coming months to work with all stakeholders to consider these factors in detail.
