Have your say on the Challenger Reserve Masterplan

News Update 10 February 2020
Parks and Reserve works

The City is developing a masterplan for Challenger Reserve in Manning, to guide the future use and development of this important community space, and we would like to know your thoughts.

Challenger Reserve, which adjoins Sandon Park, is currently home to tennis, bowls and soccer clubs. It has a playground and is also used by local residents for informal recreation purposes. A cricket wicket was added to the eastern playing field area last year.

The masterplan will guide the development of Challenger Reserve to improve the community facilities and level of amenity for reserve users. Works will include upgrades to, or replacement of existing facilities and an investigation into co-location and amalgamation opportunities.

Your feedback will help in the development of the masterplan. An information session and workshop are being held 6-7.30pm on Monday 24 February at the Manning Bowling Club, Challenger Parade and Griffin Crescent, Manning. Please RSVP at Your Say South Perth by Wednesday 19 February.

For more information and to have your say on the masterplan visit Your Say South Perth.  Hard copies of the survey are also available at the City of South Perth Civic Centre, and South Perth and Manning libraries.

Consultation closes 4pm, Tuesday 3 March.
