Hard waste collection to commence 14 October

Hard waste collection will commence in the City from 14 October 2019.

Running until the first weekend of December, each suburb has pickup scheduled, starting with Como Beach. 

To ensure the maximum amount of hard waste is recycled, different trucks are allocated to specific items. Please assist us by placing hard rubbish on your own verge in separate piles:

• Metals
• Whitegoods
• Mattresses
• E-Waste
• General waste.

Four cubic metres of waste will be collected from each residence. 

Items for collection must be placed neatly on the verge by 7am on the scheduled start date (including public holidays). Waste should be put out no earlier than one week before the collection commencement date.
