Council candidate information session
If you want to make a difference to your community, why not nominate for Council?
The City of South Perth and Town of Victoria Park are hosting an information session for people interested in becoming a local government Councillor at the October 2019 Local Government Election.
Come and hear about a day in the life of a Councillor, the role of Council, the election process and the benefits you can gain from representing your local community. The evening will feature a presentation by the WA Electoral Commission and there will be opportunity to ask questions.
Local Government elections will be held on 19 October 2019, with nominations for Council open from 5 to 12 September 2019.
