Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan

News Update 20 May 2019

The City is reviewing its Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan. The Plan, which is reviewed every three years, sets key priorities to address local community safety concerns and details the City’s approach to building social cohesion and community connections to enhance a sense of safety.

From February through to April 2019, the community were invited to provide feedback. This feedback is now being analysed to help the City to understand the safety concerns and priorities within our community and to inform the development of a draft Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan, to be presented to Council at the June 2019 Council meeting for consideration and final endorsement.
