Neil McDougall Park lake – environmental studies
The City is currently developing a preliminary water sensitive urban design for the McDougall Park lake.
The formation of this design involves thorough site investigations to determine the presence of acid sulphate soils and to investigate site hydrology (groundwater levels).
From mid-March to mid-April 2019 (weather dependent) the City will be undertaking environmental studies at Neil McDougall Park lake. Works will involve various contractors operating on site undertaking water and soil sampling with a range of machinery and equipment.
Works will be carried out between 7am and 5pm. Access to the park will not be affected.
