Perth Airport works 5 March to 18 May
Residents are to be advised of upcoming Perth Airport works including upgrades and regular maintenance of its runways.
To enable these works, both the main runway (03/21) and the cross runway (06/24) will be temporarily closed at different times from 5 March to 18 May 2019.
During the works, residents may notice temporary changes to the frequency of flights (either an increase or a decrease), depending on which runway is closed, however the total number of flights arriving at and departing from Perth Airport has not changed.
The current works schedule will require the following closures:
Main Runway 03/21 closure
5-23 March 2019 between 8am-5pm, Monday to Saturday
Cross Runway 06/24 closure
25 March-18 May 2019, 24 hours, seven days a week
