Mends Street Jetty - Grass Trees saved
On Tuesday 15 January 2019 five grass trees located near the Mends Street Jetty in South Perth were removed to accommodate the commencement of construction for the Connect South project.
The trees have be saved to ensure they are not damaged during the construction and after a period of care and stabilisation will be replanted at Sir James Mitchell Park in South Perth.
Construction of the Connect South project is due to commence after the Australia Day public holiday 2019.
