Update on Perth Airport works

Residents are to be advised of upcoming Perth Airport works which are part of the Forrestfield-Airport Link (FAL) project.

The FAL project involves tunnelling under the airfield and runways at Perth Airport. To enable the next stages of the project, both the main runway and the cross runway will be temporarily restricted at different times throughout October and November 2018.

The current works schedule will require the following closures:

Main Runway
 
  • 2-12 November 2018
  • The Main Runway will be closed from 8am-4pm on 2 November and 9 November

Cros Runway

  • 18-28 November 2018
*Please note that these closures may change or vary due to operational requirements.

During the works, residents may notice temporary changes to flight frequencies (either an increase or a decrease), depending on which runway is closed, however, the total number of flights arriving and departing from Perth Airport will not change.
