Update on Ernest Johnson Reserve redevelopment

Throughout the winter months works have progressed at Ernest Johnson Reserve in South Perth. This has included the installation of new footpaths, exercise and playground equipment, bbq and picnic areas, and the creation of a natural play area adjacent to the main playing field.

Demolition of the old Rotary building on the eastern side of the Reserve was also completed in August.

Weather permitting, cricket nets, drainage infrastructure, electrical conduit and footings for flood lighting are scheduled throughout August and September. 

Further scheduled works also include the installation of seating around the playing field and an awning for John McGrath Pavilion.  

The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of September 2018.
