Changes to parking arrangements in South Perth

The City continually reviews parking arrangements to accommodate supply and demand and to maximise parking efficiency within the South Perth Station Precinct and surrounding area.

In line with the City’s Parking Management Plan - South Perth Station Precinct, there will be changes to parking arrangements in South Perth as of 30 July 2018.  

Changes include:

  • the introduction of weekend restrictions
  • the addition of new timed 2P and 4P parking in specified areas
  • on and off street parking along South Perth Esplanade will change to 24 hour paid parking
  • end of 1 hour free parking trial in areas along South Perth Esplanade.  

Drivers are encouraged to read parking signs carefully. 

First hour free parking is still available in the undercover South Shore Shopping Centre paid car park off South Perth Esplanade
