Gross Pollutant Trap to be installed at Bodkin Park, Waterford on 6 June

As part of the 2017/2018 Capital Works Program, the City will be installing a Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT) at Bodkin Park, Waterford to trap solid waste such as litter and coarse sediment and reduce input of nutrients and pollutants into local waterways.

Construction works are scheduled to start on the 6 June 2018 and will take approximately 3 days, weather permitting. Neighbouring residents will not be directly affected however residents may experience amplified construction noise during this period. 

Work will generally be confined to the hours of 7am to 5pm.
