George Burnett Leisure Centre reopens

In July 2017, the George Burnett Leisure Centre (GBLC) sports hall in Karawara suffered water damage causing the timber floor to warp and the courts were closed for safety reasons.

Repairs have now been completed and we are delighted to advise that the court is now available for casual and regular hire.
 
The court is available for gentle exercise, dance, martial arts, badminton, indoor soccer, basketball, volleyball and many other activities. A range of junior programs including basketball, indoor soccer and multisports will also recommence from Term 1.
 
Operating hours during January will vary and be published on the George Burnett Leisure Centre website page and return to the following from February:

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 9pm
Saturday - Sunday 8:30am - 6pm
