Media Release 3 July 2017
Vision 2027

The City of South Perth’s Strategic Community Plan 2017-2027 has been drafted following extensive consultation and engagement with the community and stakeholders.

The Plan identifies the City’s vision and priorities for the next 10 years and has a strong emphasis on the community’s aspirations, priorities and vision for the City’s future.

The Plan was presented to the Council at the June 2017 Council Meeting and the City is now inviting community and stakeholder feedback on the Plan via the City’s online engagement portal Your Say South Perth. Hardcopies of the Plan and survey are available to view and complete at South Perth and Manning Libraries.

Members of the public will have the opportunity to comment on the strategies within the the Plan which have been grouped in four categories; Community, Economic, Environment (Built and Natural) and Leadership.

Feedback opens on Monday 3 July and closes 5pm Monday 31 July 2017. Following the conclusion of the consultation, public comments will be considered and the final Plan will be presented to Council for adoption in August 2017.

A Corporate Business Plan will then be developed to outline how the City will meet the aspirations and achieve the priorities developed by the community in the Plan.

The City thanks everyone who has contributed their feedback, thoughts and ideas to this major review of the Plan.
