Young people celebrated at City’s National Youth Week events

Approximately 400 people attended the City’s free National Youth Week (NYW) program of events and activities which ran from 31 March to 9 April 2017.

The NYW events continue to grow and this year included a range of practical hands-on workshops as well as live music and entertainment.

Over 150 young people and their families enjoyed the free outdoor movie, Hunt for the Wilderpeople at Neil McDougal Park. The interactive drone and barista workshops were an instant hit, having sold out within days of being released.
