Journalist's background: Media enquiry regarding the Minister for Planning’s requested modifications to the City of South Perth’s Amendment No. 46 ‘South Perth Station Precinct’.

On 16 December 2016 the Minister for Planning’s office issued a media statement regarding the Minister’s requested modifications to the City of South Perth’s Town Planning Scheme Amendment No. 46 ‘South Perth Station Precinct’. 

Following this announcement, on 20 December 2016 the City received full details of the Minister’s required modifications. 

The City is now working through the schedule of changes and will submit the modified amendment to the Western Australian Planning Commission before Ministerial approval is given.  

Following approval, the City will publish the approved Scheme Amendment in the Government Gazette, upon which the Amendment provisions become operative.  All submitters and affected landowners will then be advised.
