Events Review - What do you think of our City-run events?

The City conducts award winning events, including major annual events such as Australia Day, the Fiesta Concert and the Angelo Street Marketplace and a number of different smaller events and activities throughout the year. Many of these events are reviewed and evaluated on an ongoing basis, however it is timely to step back and evaluate the City’s events as a whole.

In July 2016, the City of South Perth Council endorsed a review of City events with the following objectives:

  • Identify what events the City is currently undertaking including how, why and where they take place,
  • Review ways events may be improved or enhanced,
  • Measure if City events are meeting community needs and expectations.

The City requests input from the stakeholders and community in the form of a short survey that will serve to gather community perception of the City’s current event program.

Independent consultants have been contracted by the City to assist in reviewing the events programme. The information you provide in the survey will support the consultants in the development of a report which will be presented to Council scheduled for the December 2016 meeting.
