New landscaping and picnic facilities at Mill Point
Early spring saw the completion by City staff and contractors of the landscaping adjacent to the new river wall to the western side of Mill Point near the Narrows Bridge in South Perth, including irrigation, trees and garden beds.
A new wide pedestrian path provides an excellent space to walk alongside the river with places to stop and enjoy the views from new benches, picnic tables and treed lawns.
The Riverwall Replacement Project and landscaping is a component of Node 5 Mill Point of the City’s South Perth Foreshore (SPF) Strategy and Management Plan.
