JDAP refuse 74 Mill Point Rd development application

Background: On Wednesday 13 July 2016 the Metro Central Joint Development Assessment Panel met at the City of South Perth Council Chambers to determine the proposed 44 storey (approximately 143 metres) mixed development of 74 Mill Point Rd, South Perth. JDAP determined to refuse approval of the development application.

The City of South Perth Council welcomes the decision of the Joint Development Assessment Panel.

This is a win for our local community. Common sense has prevailed and JDAP’s decision reflects orderly and proper planning practices.

The Council has acted in the best interests of our community and we are reassured by the fact that this development will not go ahead as originally proposed.
