Final Report Local Area Traffic Management Study

The City of South Perth (City) engaged Opus Consultants in November 2011 to prepare a Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) Study for Area 12.

Area 12 is bounded by Henley Street, Goss Avenue, Manning Road and Canning Highway. This report is required by the City to consider local traffic issues raised by residents and Council, and to develop a conceptual plan that addresses the concerns and issues identified during the study process.

A LATM study is a formal way of investigating traffic, pedestrian and cyclist related issues within the local streets of the study area. A number of stages have been followed in order to qualify and quantify factors affecting the road network within the study area.

The City of South Perth Council received the final Area 12 report on 21 November 2012.

The City will consider the implementation of the treatments borne from the study in the City’s Five Year Capital Works Program.
