Election Results
Sue Doherty was elected as Mayor of the City of South Perth for the period of 4 years ending October 2015.
After the declaration of the result former Deputy Mayor Sue Doherty said,
"It is with humility and pride that I step into the role of Mayor.
"I would like to thank my supporters - over 80 in number - who helped me in the election process.
"I recognise the significant diversity in our community and it is good to see two more women being elected to the Council.
"Thank you sincerely to all of those people who voted for me.
"The importance of the task ahead is appreciated and I commit to work with our community and continue the practice of holding monthly community meetings in the future.
"Congratulations also to the newly elected Councillors, Sharron Hawkins-Zeeb, Fiona Reid and Bill Gleeson."

Moresby ward: Fiona Reid
