Underground power information session - Kensington Project Area
On Wednesday 23 July 2025, the City and Western Power will host a community information session at John McGrath Hall about the upcoming underground power project in the Kensington area.
Bollard lights vandalised at Sir James Mitchell Park
Bollard lights along the footpath in Sir James Mitchell Park - between the Boatshed Café and the Scented Gardens carpark - are currently not operational due to vandalism. At least 23 out of the 37 lights have been damaged.
Footpath replacement - Bickley Crescent between Pether Road and Godwin Avenue, Manning
Footpath replacement works will be happening on Bickley Crescent soon as part of the City’s 2025/26 Slab Replacement Program. These works will be confined to the street verge and will include replacing old concrete slabs and constructing a new 1.5m wide in situ concrete footpath.
