Federal Minister for Environment, Hon Melissa Price MP and Federal Member for Swan, Hon Steve Irons MP visited the City this week to tour the Salter Point Reserve where Conservation Volunteers Australia have been restoring natural foreshore habitat of the Canning River.
The Department of Health is advising people not to eat fish, crabs or shellfish collected from within the Swan River, extending from the Old Swan Brewery, Mounts Bay Road, upstream to the Garrett Road Bridge.
