Make your vote count in the 2026 Extraordinary Postal Election
Residents and eligible electors in the Como and Moresby wards are encouraged to have their say in the City of South Perth’s 2026 Extraordinary Postal Election, to be held on Thursday 24 September.
The election will fill one vacancy in each ward, with both terms expiring on 16 October 2027.
Voting packages, which have been delivered to eligible voters, need to be completed and returned via post as soon as possible to allow enough time for your vote to reach the Returning Officer.
You can also hand deliver your postal voting papers or obtain a replacement package (if the package is not received, or should any papers be missing), during business hours before election day from the City of South Perth Civic Centre.
Optional preferential voting is used, which means you can number candidates in the order of your preference and do not have to number every box. Voting closes at 6pm on Thursday 24 September 2026.
