Karawara Community Herb Garden
On Sunday 28 July, a community herb garden was installed along the outer fence of the Gowrie Community Centre.
The project was an idea from community members who have participated in recent community engagement for the Karawara Public Open Space Masterplan and Collaborative Action Plan. The garden was constructed by a group of passionate community members, working together with City of South Perth staff.
Following the garden installation, consultants UDLA presented to community members and stakeholders, a summary of the Draft Karawara Public Open Space Masterplan and Collaborative Action Plan which is currently being reviewed by City Officers.
