Your Mayor and Councillors

The City of South Perth is divided into four wards, each is represented by two councillors and presided over by a popularly elected mayor.

Council Meetings

Council Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month (except January and December).

Elections

Local government elections are held on the third Saturday in October every two years. The last election was held in October 2019.

Policies & Delegations

The Council's policies contain statements of strategic intent to guide the City's operations and decision making. They have been aligned to the identified outcomes contained within the Strategic Community Plan.

Local Laws

The City has enacted a number of local laws that govern activities on land that is owned or managed by the City, as well as certain activities conducted on private land within the City.

Financial Hardship Assistance

City of South Perth ratepayers residents, businesses, community groups and clubs experiencing financial hardship may be eligible to receive Financial Hardship Assistance.
