Repairing road surfaces and surrounding infrastructure will prevent further deterioration and ensure they remain in good condition for years to come.

Temporary lane closures and detours will be in place during the road works. We’re working to minimise any inconvenience during this time to residents and business owners. 

Should you need to enter or exit your property while the works are in progress, please speak to the traffic controllers and they will direct you through the work area. Please follow signage and take care when driving in the area.

Some of the measures that are taken include:

• Development and Implementation of both a Traffic Management Plan and a Noise Management Plan.
  
• Traffic detours to help road users navigate through road closures.
  
• Traffic control personnel to help residents to get access in and out of the property at all the time.
  
• Use of Variable Message Boards to communicate the nature of the road closures and notify residents/patrons of alternative access routes.
  
• Working with property and business owners to minimise the disruption and impact on access to their properties and/or businesses, depending on the nature of the works.

Yes, residents and visitors can still access the South Perth Foreshore.

Yes, there will be no interruptions to waste collection during the works.
