Southside Summer returns to light up Mindeerup in 2026

The City of South Perth is bringing back one of its most popular summer celebrations, with Southside Summer set to return to vibrant Mindeerup from Wednesday 28 January to Tuesday 3 February 2026. 

Presented as part of FRINGE WORLD 2026, this free week-long celebration will once again turn the foreshore into a lively hub of family fun, live entertainment and hands-on activities for all ages. 

Each evening from 6pm, Mindeerup will come alive with roving performers, live music and high-energy entertainment including stilt walkers from Enchanted Stiltwalking and the smooth sounds of the Perth Sax Rockers. At 6.45pm, FRINGE WORLD award-winners ZAP CIRCUS will ignite the stage each night with their awe-inspiring headline show. 

On select evenings, audiences can also roll up their sleeves and take part in interactive circus workshops. 

Bring a picnic rug and settle in for an evening of fun under the stars. 

Mindeerup is easily reached on foot, by bike or via public transport. Paid parking is available nearby at South Shore Shopping Centre, Millstream Car Park and Wilson Parking at the Windsor Hotel.
