Road rehabilitation night works - Manning Road (eastbound) between Kent and Gillion Streets

Road rehabilitation works will soon be happening on Manning Road, Karawara. Repairing the road surfaces and surrounding infrastructure will prevent further deterioration and ensure they remain in good condition for years to come.

The City will be undertaking night works as follows:

Location: Manning Road (East Bound) between Kent Street and Gillon Street (see map below)

Date: Week commencing Monday 24 November 2025

Duration: Approximately two weeks, weather permitting, Monday to Saturday between the hours of 7:00pm to 5:30am.

Please note that the works may not be carried out every night during this period. The road works will include:

• Laying asphalt on three occasions (road resurfacing) which will impact access to properties at certain times.

• Civil infrastructure upgrades to access ramps, drainage and kerbing which may impact reticulation systems.

The City makes every effort to minimise the disruption caused by the night works. Local residents will be notified by letter, and updates will also be available on the City’s website.
