Aerial mosquito treatment – 19 March 2020
The City is planning to undertake an aerial larvicide treatment by Heliwest on 19 March 2020 between 9am and 3pm. We will be using Vectobac G to be applied at label rates.

Library after-hours chute to open 24/7
As of 17 March 2020 the South Perth and Manning libraries after-hours chutes will be open 24/7.
Overnight closures Kwinana Freeway from 13 March
Kwinana Freeway northbound between Canning Highway and the Narrows Bridge will be closed overnight for up to three weeks.
Health warning - Swan and Canning Rivers
An Alexandrium algal bloom is currently impacting the Swan and Canning Rivers.
Weed control treatment
Subject to weather conditions, contract weed control treatments will be carried out on all footpaths, cycle ways, drainage sumps and kerb lines within the City of South Perth from 26 March 2020, commencing in the Manning Ward.
