Have your say on the draft Bentley Technology Park Precinct Structure Plan

News Update 21 April 2026
The City is inviting feedback on Development WA’s draft Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) for Bentley Technology Park.

The draft PSP will guide development in the precinct, which spans the City of South Perth and Town of Victoria Park.

It outlines proposed development outcomes relating to:

  • Preferred land uses (for example, research related land uses)
  • Subdivision (the requirements to subdivide and create new land parcels)
  • Infrastructure (such as proposed new roads and pedestrian access ways)
  • Open Space (including the proposed distribution of open spaces)
  • Built form (such as building heights, the setback of buildings and landscaping requirements).

The City is seeking feedback for the part of the PSP located within the City of South Perth only.

To provide feedback on the portion within the Town of Victoria Park, please visit the Town’s YourThoughts webpage.

All feedback received will be considered and included in a report to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC). The report will take into account community submissions, as well as the City’s assessment against relevant planning frameworks.

The report will include a recommendation, which may propose modifications to Development WA’s draft PSP. The WAPC will then consider the report and make the final determination.

To provide feedback, complete a form at Your Say South Perth or attend a Development WA information drop-in session on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 28 April 2026 5:30 – 8:00pm.
  • Saturday 9 May 2026 9:30am – 12:00pm.
Both drop in sessions will be at The Hub, Bentley Technology Park, 2 Brodie-Hall Drive, Bentley.

Hard copy feedback forms and copies of the draft PSP are also available at the City’s Civic Centre and South Perth and Manning Libraries.

Feedback closes at 4pm, Tuesday 2 June 2026 (AWST)
