Road rehabilitation works
Every year the City identifies roads within our community that are in need of rehabilitation, including repairs to the road surface and surrounding infrastructure, in order to prevent any further deterioration and avoid costly repairs in the future.
The road works can include:
- Road resurfacing (with asphalt)
- Kerb replacement
- Drainage structure upgrades
- Minor footpath upgrades.

Kwinana Freeway Northbound overnight freeway closure January - 20 February 2020
Sections of the Kwinana Freeway northbound will be closed overnight from Sunday to Thursday for up to six weeks starting Sunday 12 January 2020
Water Corporation replacing pipes in Manning
Water Corporation will be replacing the water pipes along Parsons Avenue between Cornish Crescent and Welwyn Avenue in Manning. Work will take place the week starting Monday 6 January 2020 and will take around 5 weeks to complete.

The City will be undertaking road rehabilitation work on Cornish Cres between Cloister Ave & Hope Ave, Manning, commencing 29 November 2019 for approximately 4 weeks.

The City will be undertaking road rehabilitation work on Rea Street and Ridge Street between Forrest Street & Hensman Street South Perth, commencing 11 November 2019 for approximately 4 weeks.
Water Corporation valve replacement works in South Perth
During recent valve inspections in South Perth, Water Corporation uncovered a faulty valve on the corner of South Tce and Sandgate St. To reduce impact to road users and the community, the valve will be replaced and relocated on Tuesday 22 October to 11 November 2019.
Kwinana Fwy temporary shared path closure
The temporary closure of the Kwinana Freeway Principal Shared Path (PSP) north of Canning Highway will now be in place until early November 2019.
