Design Review Panel EOI 2024

The City of South Perth is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced professionals to join its Design Review Panel (DRP) for a two year term as a member or as the Chairperson. The City is currently recruiting a range of technical specialists to form a pool of panel members.

The panel is responsible for reviewing development applications and providing independent expert design advice to the City. The panel does not make any decisions on applications, nor does it liaise directly with applicants and other interested parties outside of the meetings.

Applications are sought from professionals with strong built environment experience in the fields of architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, built heritage and sustainability. Other disciplines may include urban planning, transport planning, public art, accessibility and civil and/or structural engineering.

The monthly DRP meetings are currently held on the first Tuesday of the month from 9.30am. Panel members will receive remuneration for attendance at each meeting.  In addition, the Chairperson receives remuneration for preparation for the meeting and provision of final written advice from the Design Review Panel.  

Expressions of interest (EOI), including a CV, cover letter addressing the Terms of Reference and portfolio of previous work are to be submitted through our online form.
