The Collier Underground Power Project was completed in March 2022, a few months ahead of schedule. Works in the area were staged in three zones (see map above) and proceeded in sequence by zone to minimise the impact on residents and enable the efficient reinstatement of verges.

The project was assessed and approved for implementation in 2017 within Round Six of the State Underground Power Program (SUPP), which had the objective to replace overhead power lines with underground power infrastructure. For more information about the SUPP and the process undertaken throughout the Collier project, please refer to the below documents and links.
