A great deal of Yoto

Play your cards right at South Perth libraries with the introduction of our new Yoto cards – hundreds of audiobooks available at the touch of a button.

With card sets available across three different age groups, Early Childhood (0-5 years), Lower Primary (5-8 years) and Middle Primary (8 – 14 years), children can choose their own adventure without an app in sight.

Let little ones listen along to popular favourites like Julia Donaldson’s Gruffalo and Zog series, while older children can be whisked away to Narnia or dive into the wonderful world of Roald Dahl.

Using the system is child’s play. You simply connect your Yoto Player or Yoto Mini Player to Wi-Fi, attach to your personal Yoto account and pop the card into your player to begin. Once you return the cards set to the library, the cards come off your Yoto account automatically – no need to do anything.

The cards support language development, listening skills and imagination without needing a screen. How’s that for a good deal? Those without a Yoto player can still experience the magic of their favourite books in audio form; both South Perth and Manning Libraries have large collections of audiobooks and stories.

Our Yoto cards can be found above the Junior Audiobooks in each branch. To see what’s available to borrow, visit the link to the collection on our catalogue.
