Footpath replacement - River View Street, South Perth

The City will soon carry out footpath replacement works on River View Street, South Perth, as part of the City’s 2026/27 Slab Replacement Program.

The works will involve removing the existing concrete slabs and constructing a new 1.5-metre-wide concrete footpath within the verge.

Location: River View Street, between Onslow and King Edward Streets, South Perth (see map below)

Date: Week commencing Monday, 9 November 2026

Duration: Approximately four weeks, weather permitting

Hours: Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm

Works may not occur every day during this period.

The City will make every effort to minimise disruption during the works. Local residents have been notified by letter, with project updates available on the City’s Road and Footpath Works webpage.
