Footpath replacement - Robert Street, Como

The City will soon carry out footpath replacement works on Robert Street, Como, as part of the City’s 2026/27 Slab Replacement Program.

The works will involve removing the existing concrete slabs and constructing a new 1.5-metre-wide concrete footpath within the verge.

Location: Robert Street, between Greenock Avenue and Cale Street, Como (see map below)

Date: Week commencing Monday, 31 August 2026

Duration: Approximately eight weeks, weather permitting

Hours: Monday to Friday between, 7am - 5pm.

Works may not occur every day during this period.

The City will make every effort to minimise disruption during the works. Local residents have been notified by letter, with project updates available on the City’s Road and Footpath Works webpage.
