City moves to ticketless parking

News Update 23 July 2025
The City of South Perth is introducing a ticketless parking system across all parking machines from 1 August.

This change means drivers will no longer receive or need to display a printed ticket.

To park, simply enter your vehicle registration number, select your parking duration, and complete payment at the machine. You can also pay online using the EasyPark app.

Ticketless parking is more environmentally friendly and makes it quicker and easier to park and go, without the need to return to your car to display a ticket.

Please ensure that your registration details are entered correctly before finalising your payment, as errors may result in a fine. If you require a receipt, it can be requested during the payment process.

There is currently one hour of free parking at selected car parks and roadside areas along the South Perth Foreshore. Ratepayers can apply for an additional hour of free parking – available only through the EasyPark app – by providing information from their rate notice when applying.

The City continues to review parking arrangements to better manage demand and improve parking efficiency. As always, drivers are encouraged to read all parking signs carefully.
