New paid parking available on the South Perth Esplanade
From Monday 17 February new parking rules will apply along the south-western side of South Perth Esplanade, between Harper Terrace and Queen Street.
Previously a no-parking zone from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday due to construction, this area will now be open for public parking from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week – aligning with parking on the south-eastern side of South Perth Esplanade.
The first hour of parking will be free for all users, with a rate of $2.80 per hour thereafter or $9.90 for all-day parking. Ratepayers using the EasyPark app can apply for an additional free hour.
The City regularly reviews parking arrangements to balance the needs of residents, visitors and local businesses.
Drivers are reminded to check parking signs carefully.
