New paid parking available on the South Perth Esplanade
From Monday 17 February new parking rules will apply along the south-western side of South Perth Esplanade, between Harper Terrace and Queen Street.
Previously a no-parking zone from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday due to construction, this area will now be open for public parking from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week – aligning with parking on the south-eastern side of South Perth Esplanade.
The first hour of parking is free for all users on activation of a valid easypark session, with an hourly fee applicable per hour thereafter. Ratepayers using the EasyPark app can apply for an additional free hour after registering for the additional benefit. For more information go to our Parking page.
In other locations where a parking machine is available and used instead of the Easypark application and where the first hour free applies, the first hour of parking is free on activation of a valid parking session with fees applying thereafter.
