Neil McDougall Lake Urban Sensitive Design
From time to time Neil McDougall Lake in Como experiences growth of an aquatic plant species Lemna minor, commonly known as duckweed. It occurs naturally, usually during the warmer months and is not harmful to wildlife or people.

The Council is progressing the South Perth Activity Centre Plan as expeditiously as possible and it is anticipated that the draft plan and associated scheme amendment will be resubmitted to Council for their consideration early in the new year.
Update on Clontarf-Waterford-Salter Point Masterplan
The CWSP Foreshore Draft Masterplan will be presented to Council in the first quarter of 2019.
Draft modified local planning policy P350.03
The City of South Perth resolved to modify local planning policy ‘P350.03 Setback of garage and carports, garage width, design or car parking spaces and vehicle access’. Submissions close 4pm, Wednesday 6 February 2019.
Weed Control Treatment
Subject to weather conditions, contract weed control treatments will be carried out on all footpaths, cycle ways, drainage sumps and kerb lines within the City of South Perth from 21 January 2019.

Mobile CCTV trailer makes its debut
The City has purchased a mobile CCTV trailer which is being used throughout the City to assist with crime prevention and City Ranger investigations.
