Home Reader Service
If you are temporarily or permanently housebound, you may be eligible for our free Home Reader Service. Our service delivers books and other library items to housebound residents.
Library staff will select books based on your preferences and volunteers deliver these to your door every two weeks. When joining, let us know what you like to read and how many books you require in each delivery.
Items available include:
- Fiction and non-fiction books in regular or large print
- Audiobooks
- DVDs
We provide resources to individuals in aged care homes within the City of South Perth. For those living independently a doctor's referral is required to join.
If you are interested in joining our Home Reader Service, please complete the Home Reader application form and submit it to the library along with the required documents.
