May & Herbert Gibbs Collection
The City of South Perth acquired a collection of 150 paintings and sketches by renowned artists May Gibbs and her father Herbert Gibbs.
The Gibbs family were long-time residents of the South Perth area, and many of the works in the collection were produced here.
The South Perth Historical Society operates the Local History Museum and May Gibbs Art Gallery from Heritage House in South Perth.
