Hire a Park or Reserve

The City’s parks and reserves can be hired for social or corporate events and functions including weddings, charity walks and fun runs. With more than 50 sites around the City, there is a space to suit all occasions from small get-togethers to large-scale functions.

The following parks can be booked online.

The fees and charges schedule at the bottom of this page will give you an indicative hire cost. The cost of hire will be calculated once you have entered your requirements in the booking system. 

Please note that four weeks notice is required for all bookings and large functions may require six weeks notice.

Sir James Mitchell Park

Sir James Mitchell Park, located on the South Perth Foreshore has breathtaking views of the Perth CBD across the Swan River and is a great spot for stunning photographs. With 15 function sites to choose from, there are endless possibilities for your event.

Neil McDougall Park

Neil McDougall Park is an iconic park located in Como. It is divided in to four separate areas, each with wide open spaces. The park features a lake and a well maintained playground.

George Burnett Park

Located near George Burnett Leisure Centre, this picturesque park has two playgrounds, barbecues and picnic shelters as well as a purpose built skate park and cycle tracks.

Windsor Park

Windsor Park is located in the heart of the City of South Perth next to Perth Zoo. With beautifully maintained grounds, the park's Victorian designed gardens make it an ideal location for weddings and social functions.

Alcohol Consumption or Sale in a City Facility or Reserve

If an event or function is being organised where alcohol will be available within a City of South Perth facility or reserve you will need to obtain the appropriate liquor licence.
