Curb your appetite with StrEATs

Nothing says endless summer evenings like South Perth’s favourite food trucks rolling into Sir James Mitchell Park. From 12 November 2026 – 11 April 2027, residents and visitors can pick, or even picnic, from a range of cuisines to suit all tastes, framed by our iconic skyline. 

There’s no need to agree on what to order, with so many food options covered. Whether you want to binge on burgers, try Thai, or wrap things up with a taco, there’s something for everyone. Just make sure you save room for dessert.

For the first three weeks of the season, (12-29 November inclusive), South Perth StrEATs will operate slightly south of its usual location at the end of Coode Street, shown on the map below. This is to accommodate the finishing touches being made on the City’s Coode Street Riverbank Restoration project. StrEATs will move back to its usual location closer to the river from 3 December. 

While we encourage visitors to work up an appetite by walking or cycling to the trucks, overflow parking is also available at the park for a $2 gold coin donation.  

All payment and proceeds will support local sporting clubs, schools and community groups.
