More than 100 years of experience on the City’s Rangers team
The City of South Perth’s current Rangers team is celebrating a remarkable achievement, with five members collectively recognised for service totalling 100 years within the Local Government ranger industry.
The team was acknowledged at the recent WA Rangers Conference Awards Dinner, where they received Long Service Recognition Awards for reaching significant service milestones.
The recipients were:
Ranger James – 10 years
- Ranger Michael – 35 years
- Ranger Paul – 20 years
- Ranger Matthew – 20 years
- Ranger Martin – 15 years
As the Long Service Recognition Awards presented in five-year increments, and several rangers have progressed beyond the period reflected in their award, the team’s actual combined service exceeds the 100 years represented by the awards.
City of South Perth Mayor Greg Milner congratulated the team on their longstanding contribution to the community.
“Rangers play an important role in delivering services that contribute to a safer community for everyone,” he said.
“We are very fortunate to have such a wealth of knowledge and experience across our City of South Perth team.”
The WA Rangers Association Long Service Awards recognise the dedication of Rangers, Parking and Patrol Officers who have served in Local Government for 10 years or more.
