Have your say on the draft Scheme Amendment to Local Planning Scheme

The City of South Perth is seeking feedback on Scheme Amendment No. 4 to Local Planning Scheme No. 7 (LPS 7) for No. 2 Bruce Street, Como (Collier Park Village).

The proposed Scheme Amendment seeks to amend the land use permissibility for Medical centre, Office, Hospital, and Recreation – private land uses at the site, from ‘X’ to ‘A’ (i.e. a discretionary use requiring advertising).

The Minister for Planning and Lands (or as delegated) modified the amendment to ensure the predominant use of the site is for ‘Independent Living Complex’ and ‘Residential Aged Care Facility’.

Council resolved at its Tuesday 26 May 2026 Ordinary Council Meeting to advertise Amendment No. 4 for a 60-day period.

Residents are invited to read the draft Scheme Amendment and FAQs, and complete a feedback form on the City's Your Say South Perth page.

Hard copies of the draft Scheme Amendment and feedback forms are also available at the City’s Civic Centre and South Perth and Manning Libraries. 

Feedback closes at 4pm Monday 9 November 2026 (AWST).
