The City of South Perth’s libraries offer the chance to read without any borders, through the amazing multi-lingual online resources, which give readers a chance to enjoy the library, regardless of their mother tongue.  

The libraries’ digital catalogue has a wide range of books and magazines in a number of different languages. From reading about Barack Obama’s journey in his autobiography, A Promised Land, translated into Vietnamese, to catching up on fashion and culture in Harper’s Bazaar Japan, the City of South Perth’s virtual shelves are stocked.  

There’s lots for children too. The reading list includes comics, classics, fairytales and fantasy in languages including French, Spanish, Hindi, Vietnamese, Mandarin and Japanese.
