Esplanade car park trial night closure
The South Perth Esplanade Car Park (SPE11) will be locked overnight for a 12-month trial period beginning on 5 June 2026.
The car park closure, endorsed at the 24 February Council Meeting, is part of a series of measures the City is undertaking to address anti–social behaviour and hooning in the area.
The car park closures will align with the last Mends Street ferry service.
5 June 2026 to 18 July 2026 (Summer ferry service)
Closed between 11.45pm and 5am, Monday to Saturday
Closed between 10pm and 5am on Sundays.
19 July 2026 to 12 September 2026 (Winter ferry service)
- Closed between 10pm and 5am, Monday to Sunday.
Hours will revert to the summer schedule after September.
